We are currently seeking to recruit a Restaurant Manager to join our team in Everett’s in Waterford City centre.

About the role:
You will work closely with the Owner and Head Chef to provide a professional hospitality service and will be responsible for:
Managing the service of customers to an excellent standard and support staff in their roles.
Training and supervising staff to ensure a warm welcome and excellent service is delivered to customers.
Working with the Head Chef to communicate relevant information to staff.
Being knowledgeable and ensuring staff are knowledgeable of the food and wine/beverage offering.
Preparing, implementing and monitoring standard operating procedures and ensuring adherence to these standards by staff.
Ensuring that staff schedules are prepared and sufficient staff are rostered.
Communicating in a friendly and professional manner with our guests, ensuring that each customer is served to an equally high standard.
Addressing any customer queries or concerns with a positive and professional attitude.
Ensuring that the restaurant is clean, well maintained and attractively presented.
Ensuring that all food and health & safety requirements are adhered to.
Performing end of service procedures, ensuring takings and expenses are accounted for.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: €32,000.00-€36,000.00 per annum
Experience: Previous managerial experience working in a similar role is required.
