We are currently seeking to recruit a Restaurant Manager to join our team in Everett’s in Waterford City centre.

About the role:

You will work closely with the Owner and Head Chef to provide a professional hospitality service and will be responsible for:

  • Managing the service of customers to an excellent standard and support staff in their roles.

  • Training and supervising staff to ensure a warm welcome and excellent service is delivered to customers.

  • Working with the Head Chef to communicate relevant information to staff.

  • Being knowledgeable and ensuring staff are knowledgeable of the food and wine/beverage offering.

  • Preparing, implementing and monitoring standard operating procedures and ensuring adherence to these standards by staff.

  • Ensuring that staff schedules are prepared and sufficient staff are rostered.

  • Communicating in a friendly and professional manner with our guests, ensuring that each customer is served to an equally high standard.

  • Addressing any customer queries or concerns with a positive and professional attitude.

  • Ensuring that the restaurant is clean, well maintained and attractively presented.

  • Ensuring that all food and health & safety requirements are adhered to.

  • Performing end of service procedures, ensuring takings and expenses are accounted for.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €32,000.00-€36,000.00 per annum

Experience: Previous managerial experience working in a similar role is required.
